As Long As We're At It

As long as my husband is on a rant about what needs to be done to the house, I decided to throw my two cents into the mix. I have hated our mailbox forever. It was here when we bought the house and even then it wasn't what you would call one of those nice mailboxes. Let's just says it falls on the rustic end of the spectrum when it comes to mail boxes.

I want one that doesn't look like it's been abandoned or a result of a construction experiment gone wrong. :) Out of everything around here I have no idea why he's blind to the mail box but that seems to be the case. It's going to take some work to convince him.

Jennifer Figge Is One Tough Lady

I read that Jennifer Figge of Colorado just swam the Atlantic ocean. My first thought was why did she pick late January, early February? I mean, it's tough enough to swim the Atlantic, she could at least do it when the weather is warmer. All I can say is that she's a better woman than me! I can't stand it if my shower isn't piping hot.
