Family Communication

I spoke to my sister in law today. I don't know why but we never talk on the phone. Maybe that's not true, I do know. I don't like to talk on the phone. LOL I am such a slug when it comes to keeping up with with phone calls to people. I would much rather email. That's not very personal but what can I say. Everything was good with the family, the girls are all happy in school. She was all excited about the Patek Phillipe watch that my brother is giving her for Valentine's Day. I acted excited too, but truthfully I have no idea what one looks like. I guess I'd better look one up.

Watching the Construction

We have been watching a new house being built on the street behind us. It is a huge house, 4 stories. There are 3 garage bays AND a huge covered motor home area on the side of the house. We walked over there today to see how big it looked in person. Let's say it didn't get any smaller up close. Of course my husband had to talk to the contractor who was there. He said they are putting in everything you can imagine from a home theater with home theater furniture to a shower will all of those synchronized jets like in the commercials. I can't wait to see who moves into this place.

We Missed It

I understand that there was a lunar eclipse this morning. But not for us here in Florida. How come we get left out of the loop on cool things like this? :) I understand that it was only visible in the western United States. Oh well, maybe they had an eclipse this morning, but I'll bet most of them didn't get up to a day with temperatures going up to 70!

Who to Pick?

My year is almost up with my web hosting company. So now I have the dilemma of deciding who to go with. I haven't been thrilled with their service. Maybe I shouldn't say that, the service was reliable. It was their customer service that left a lot to be desired.

I found a site that lists the top 10 hosting companies. What I liked was the customer review section. I always like to see what customers have to say about a company. There is also a section on the best budget hosting. I'm not sure that is always the best way to go, but I definitely don't want to be throwing money away. I guess I'll be spending a while reading.
