I Hate Mulch

We spent last week cleaning up the yard, doing some planting and putting down fresh mulch. Since we live in north Florida, pine straw is the mulch of choice here. Everything looks nice and neat but the creatures have started crawling out of it. I always hate when we put down fresh mulch because of that. I need some spider traps and lots of spray for the various creepy crawlies. Ugh.

Do You Think She Will?

I am seeing rumors that Barbara Walters is going to leave the View this summer and retire. While I have said for years that she should, I really wonder if she can. I don't think she can give up the attention or the power. She has been looking tired lately, and she doesn't seem to be enjoying herself when she is on the show. But I have doubts as to whether that is enough for her to give it up.

Rain, Rain, Go Away

I guess I am spoiled by living in Florida. It has only been raining for two days and already I am complaining that I want the sunshine back. These dark and dreary days really get to me. There is just so much time I can spend messing with all my electronics before I get bored. I need sunshine and warmth. Maybe I need to move further south!
