New Favorite Tacos

As some of you know, I am crazy about Mexican food. I now have a new favorite taco place! A little Mexican market opened near our post office a while ago but I never went inside to check it out. Last week I finally did. They have a counter in the back where they prepare simple Mexican food. I tried the taco and it was a real treat. The tacos are authentic with cubed beef and served with chopped onions and cilantro on a fresh soft cornmeal tortilla. Nothing like the crunchy ones with lettuce, tomatoes and cheese. Now I have a place to stop when I hit the sale at Scavengers.

I Am Thankful

Every now and then I realize how lucky I am. I live in a wonderful place in a beautiful house with my dear husband. I am blessed to be able to be my own boss and make my living online. There are no commutes or snarky bosses involved. I don't have to do a sales job search and compete with everyone else looking for a job. My life is blessed in many ways and I am thankful.

She's Sticking By Him

I just read an article about the fiance of the supposed Craigslist killer. She has stated that it couldn't possible be him and that she is standing by her man. My gut instinct was to think she's stupid for saying that. When things like this happen everyone always says the guy was normal and nice and nobody suspected it. But them I thought about what a shock it must be to her and that she's probably in denial. I think the media needs to step back and let her have time to process what has happened.
