I'm a Computer-A-Holic
I have decided that I am a computer-a-holic. I am addicted to them. I now have two desktops that I use daily, a netbook that fits in my purse for on the go and now a new notebook computer. Yes, I bought a new one while I was in Memphis. I'm not even mentioning the two computers that my husband has, they're his not mine, right? The next thing on my list is a new smart phone. The Droid from Verizon is in my sights. I may need counseling.
Flashback to South Florida
I am checking out water softeners and it is taking me back to living in south Florida. We were on well water and we not only had a softening system for the whole house but a reverse osmosis system for the kitchen. There is a lot of iron in the water there and it stains everything if you are not vigilant. When I think back to the water there I realize how good we actually have it here in north Florida.
This is Why I Like Florida
Today couldn't be any more beautiful. It's in the low 70's under crystal blue skies. It serves as a remind to me as to why I love living here so much. Spending 6 weeks in Memphis brought back to me how much I hated the weather there. Days upon days of gloomy and rainy weather is not for me. I need sunshine and blue skies. Thankfully they are in abundance here.
Made It Back
We made it back home and I have to say it's good to be here. We decided to keep my father's Expedition since it is much newer than Steve's car. That meant we each had to drive a vehicle home. That's a long drive when you have to do it as the only driver.
The bad thing about bringing the Expedition back was that Steve had the urge to fill it to the rim with everything he thought he might ever need. I even had to convince him he didn't need a tv stand. All of ours are wall mounts now, what could he possible use it for? It seems he got a new truck, a power washer and ton of various tools out of the deal. I brought home 1 lamp. Something's wrong with this picture...
