Happy Thanksgiving

I want to go ahead and wish everyone a very happy Thanksgiving. My husband had a few things to do before we left for our shopping trip so I am tying up some loose ends online. I know once I start getting things ready and cooking I won't have time to blog. He just told me to add fuse holders to the shopping list so I think he is almost ready to go. Happy Thanksgiving to all and don't eat too much!

Ouch

I just watched the video of Paula Deen getting hit in the face with a ham. All I can say is ouch! She really got creamed. What was almost as priceless was the face of the guy who threw the ham, he look like he was going to die when he realized what he had done. In typical Paula fashion she made a joke of it and said she ran head on into a ham. :)

Reunion

It has been a long time coming but it looks like my husband has mended fences with his son. They have not been on good terms for year. His son called him out of the blue a couple of weeks ago and they have spoken several times. He has even made plans to meet him in Gainesville. I am hoping that we can find some people who want to sell motorhome while we are there. We would like one to put in Mexico Beach. I can look at them while they reconnect.

Last Trip

I am sitting here making my shopping list for my last trip out before the holiday. My husband wants to go to Walmart for some bins and air conditioner filters so I am going to tag along. I hate trying to shop on the day before a holiday and I absolutely refuse to leave the house on Black Friday. I am not the kind of shopper who enjoys crowds and fighting for a sale item.

Bella

We have a new member of the pack and her name is Bella Boo. She will be 11 weeks old on Thanksgiving day. She is a Bichon Frise and an absolute doll. My husband never wanted a small dog but she has won him over. He is her biggest fan.
