Paperless Mail Service

I was reading about paperless mail services today. They can eliminate all of your paper mail and you can receive everything digitally over the internet. They can even accept and scan in things like wedding invitations and baby announcements. Automatic bank deposits can be handled as well. They say the service is valid for every physical address in the country. It looks like the postal service may be obsolete before we know it.

Finally, Success

It has been a very long time in coming but I am happy to say that my husband has finally been able to get off of the pain pills. He started taking them last year for his back. Unfortunately, his back surgery was delayed when he had to have bypass surgery so he was on the pills for a long time.

It is so nice to have a clear thinking husband again. The pills really fogged his mind. He was able to shop for auto insurance quotes today with no problem and even made a decision. When he was on the pills he could barely decide what to wear. It's good to have him back.

This is Not My Kind of Weather

I mentioned a couple of posts ago that we are having a seriously cold winter. It turns out that this week is the coldest we have had in 10 years. They are even saying that we might have snow flurries or ice Thursday night. This is not what I signed up for!! I said that I was never moving back down south but it is beginning to look good again...
